WORLD CLASS TALENTS ...Namamasko Po!

It’s an idea that strikes from nowhere, but something is moving me to do this worthwhile project to help those who are badly affected by the unexpected typhoon devastating the only source of knowledge from these Pangasinense.

It’s not pure luck that I’d been blessed by talented persons around me, It was started with Mau Marcelo to whom I pushed harder when her dream was in the verge of giving-up by giving her a chance to redeem herself as a talented singer that could hardly been noticed in the Philippines, because true enough, face is still the greatest value in Philippines local show business. That was when she struggled to join again in various amateur contests after the defeat from Star For A Night who has won by equally talented and beautiful Sarah Geronimo. Her life is like a roller coaster but I do believe that something stored for this talented black belter, which moved me to cut an album under her screen name ‘Samantha Brown’ which includes all my original composition showcased in the Filipino community of Singapore. After this stint, another door opens with her when ABC 5 secured the rights of the 1st Philippine Idol under Freemantle. It was written in history, though another idol rights had been taken by GMA 7 by having their 1st Pinoy Idol, Mau Marcelo served as the only original 1st and last Philippine Idol in Philippine history.
Silent Dynamite as what other delegates from other countries tagged on this newest teen sensation who bested other finalists from more than 40 countries in the singing, dancing, modeling and acting category via 2008 World Championships Of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held at Hotel Bonaventure in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California USA last July 19-26, 2008. Catherine Loria, the 13 year old lass from the province of Tiaong, Quezon who started singing at an early age of 2 hailed as the Best Junior Vocalist of the World and won the highest award given by the WCOPA jurors as the Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World. Catherine Loria is not new in the singing contest, at the age of 3, she is already active in different amateur contests in nearby provinces of Laguna, Batangas and Quezon. She has been an studio contestant for Munting Miss U and Bulilit Popstar in MTB at ABS-CBN, Batang Star in Eat Bulaga at GMA-7, Popstar Kids at QTV-11, Extreme Karaoke Contest in ‘Galing ng Pinoy’ at NBN-4 via ‘BANTAYOCW’ show hosted by Ms. Susan K.
The 1st Philippine Idol and the Asian Idol representative Ms. Mau Marcelo, together with Catherine Loria, a very rare appearance teaming up with the best Filipino artists in Singapore will do this humanitarian project, a concert for a cause aiming to help the elementary kids in Macabito Elementary School in Pangasinan to re-build their building that had been ruined by typhoon Frank. This will showcase their journeys how they became a ‘World Class Talent’ together with equally handsome actor, director, singer, model and writer who had been dubbed in Philippines Theater as the ‘Perennial Romantic Lead’ Mr. Jay Espano. Jay Espano was the 2008 WCOPA Singapore’s representative who earned silver medals for theater acting and singing.
With the addition of the first Filipino Idol in Singapore and the Mediacorp's Live The Dream Finalist, Robert Sunga, this concert is really a dream came true ...
Music without live accompaniment is dull, introducing in this concert is the MAHARLIKA BAND, a group of talented musicians from various professions in Singapore that became visible in the various Filipino gigs via FAS yearly search for Filipino Idol in Singapore. MAHARLIKA BAND is not only popular in different Filipino Community gatherings but also been invited in various local gigs such as DnD, weddings and birthday parties.
Special participation from Susmitha Arenas (dubbed as youngest Britney Spears in Singapore, Small Talks, MediaCorp), Ruby Cana (Founder of Tinig Pinoy and Philippine’s Nora Aunor) and Noel Loria (an amateur singing contest veteran) will be an added attraction who will embrace the NTUC Auditorium on Dec 7, 2008. The concert will start at 3PM until 6PM, be mesmerized, amazed and impressed with these world-class talents who will be serenading you with their different musicality and style in the spirit of Christmas.
Pentravel & Tours, Pinoy Star Magazine, BrunPhil, MAGANDA Sexy Beauty Salon & Boutique, David Axel Marketing, KC Dat Cargo and AirFreight Cargo bring this project to you in cooperation with Filipino Bowlers Club (Singapore) and SAMA group organization. Suresh and Chona Pillay produce this concert with the help of Emy Leong from Pangasinan. Mart Ilagan who will also be the musical director had conceptualized the show.

wow.I am asking my lady boss to watch this show as I am a big fan of Philipinos in Singapore. I saw Jay Espano perform in a show and he's a very funny host. I have not seen the other 2 ladies but Ihave no doubt that they will be good singers.
